Master Copy Experience

One of the first master copies I created was of one of Charles Reid's works. I loved the watercolour bursts within the work and had a lot of fun creating it. Then when my professor caught sight of it she expressed how impressed she was with my detail by stating "I think this is better than the original". It was very surreal to hear that from someone I worked under and an experienced portrait artist!

I was able to go through the work I had stored away and took this photo of it!
